Where are La Cà restaurants located?

We have three locations in Tacoma and Parkland, WA. La Cà Bar is at 606 S Junett St in Tacoma (6th Ave neighborhood). La Cà Café is at 323 Garfield St S in Parkland, near Pacific Lutheran University. La Cà 38th is at 1001 S 38th St in Tacoma (Lincoln District).

What are your hours?

Hours vary by location. La Cà Bar is open 11am–midnight (until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays). La Cà Café is open 11am–9pm. La Cà 38th is open 11am–10pm. Visit each restaurant's individual website (lacabar.com, lacacafe.com, laca38th.com) for the most current hours and any holiday changes.

Which La Cà location should I visit?

Different vibe at each. La Cà Bar (6th Ave, Tacoma) has a full bar and stays open late on weekends — best for cocktails and a late-night phở. La Cà Café (Parkland) is a casual neighborhood spot near PLU — beer and wine only, great for lunch or an early dinner. La Cà 38th (Lincoln District, Tacoma) is a bistro with a full bar and the broadest menu — good for a sit-down dinner or a group.

Our Food

What kind of Vietnamese food do you serve?

Central Vietnamese cooking — the regional cuisine of the family's home in Vietnam. The menu goes well beyond phở and bánh mì: bún bò Huế (Central Vietnam's spicy beef noodle soup), cơm tấm (broken rice plates), crispy spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, and rotating seasonal specials. The same recipes have been in the family for generations.

Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes. Every menu has a dedicated Vegan / Vegetarian section. Phở chay (vegetable phở), tofu vermicelli bowls, and vegetarian spring rolls are on the regular menu. Specials sometimes feature additional plant-based dishes — ask your server about the day's options.

What's your most popular dish?

Phở is the most ordered — 24-hour bone broth, slow-simmered, served with rare beef, brisket, or chicken depending on the bowl. Bánh mì is a close second, especially the crispy pork belly. Bún bò Huế is the dish to order if you want something that isn't on every Vietnamese menu in town — it's the regional specialty from the family's part of Central Vietnam.

Reservation policy varies by location and time. Check the "Reserve" link on each restaurant's individual website for current booking. Walk-ins are welcome at all three; expect a short wait on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Do you offer takeout or delivery?

Takeout: yes, at all three locations. Order online from each restaurant's website — the "Order Online" button goes to the takeout menu. Delivery: available through third-party services (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub) at each location.

Do you have a full bar?

La Cà Bar and La Cà 38th have full bars — craft cocktails, local drafts, wine, and a curated spirits list. La Cà Café has a more focused beer and wine selection (no full liquor service).

Do you do catering?

Yes. Catering is available for events of most sizes — from a tray of bánh mì for an office lunch to full-spread phở bars for larger gatherings. Check the "Catering" link on each restaurant's individual website to inquire about a specific date and menu.

Our Story

When did La Cà open?

La Cà has been serving Tacoma since 2017. The first location opened on 6th Ave (now La Cà Bar). La Cà Café and La Cà 38th opened in the following years as the family expanded into new neighborhoods.

Is La Cà family-owned?

Yes. All three restaurants are owned and operated by the same family. The recipes, the cooking, and the day-to-day decisions all come from people who grew up eating this food in Central Vietnam. Nothing on the menu is a franchise import.
